KOCUDA Limbe hail Denis AwohNdang for Good Work


The Kom Community in LimbeFako division of the South West Region under the umbrella of Kom Cultural Development Association (KOCUDA) has hailed Mr Denis AwohNdang, Mayor of the Fundong Council and Regional delegate of Public Works for the North West for working hard to unite the Kom people in Limbe during his two year reign as President of the Association from 2012-2014. The message of appreciation and gratitude was addressed to him by the quarter head of the Kom Community in Limbe,BobeNtoh Jerome on Sunday 7th December 2014 during an elective assembly to vote a new executive that will pilot the affairs of the association for the next two years. The Ndang Denis led executive of KOCUDA made great strides in reconciling four of the five factions of the Kom people in Limbe, giving them reason to look in one direction and also succeeded in procuring a piece of land worth 2.4MFCA that will be used to build a community hall for Kom gatherings in Limbe.
During the elective general assembly Mrs. Martha Akom was elected president to head a 19 man executive for a two years mandate. She and her team have as major priority to source for finances to raise the Kom Community hall in Limbe with land already acquired.
The outgone president of KOCUDA LimbeMr.Ndang Denis appealed for the Kom Community to remain united and to contribute to development back at home.
