BISHOP GEORGE N REV FR LINUS KANG St Anthony’s parish Njinikom has produced another Mill Hill priest. Rev Fr Linus Kang was ordained Saturday June 15 by Bishop George Nkuo. During the pontifical high mass, Bishop George Nkuo expressed joy that just after two years, he was back at his home parish for another ordination, saying the Mill Hill has found fertile ground for vocations in Njinikom. Christened, priest of the new covenant, Rev Linus Kang was challenged to enforce the universal law of love and to love just every one even those who had blocked the bishop and others like the Mill Hill superior at Baingo for hours, almost thwarting the ordination. He was asked to be ready to suffer and not to fear because the church in Njinikom that has been for over a century shall always pray for him. DEEPENING BOYO IDP CRISIS: SENATOR HONORE NGAM SETS PACE, BOYO POLITICIANS SCRAMBLE

Politicians from Boyo division have seemingly risen from slumber and are now making frantic efforts to bail out the worsening conditions of some thousands of internally displace persons from Boyo division who have taken up temporal refuge in Bamenda, Yaoundé and other towns. The race to help the IDPs seems to have been fired by Senator Honore Ngam, who recently on may 16,grouped Boyo  IDPs in Bamenda-donating foodstuffs and financially empowering some to set up own businesses. On June 1 st , the 4 mayors of Boyo, themselves IDPs resident in Yaoundé, donated accommodation utilities, foodstuffs and related consumables to the Yaoundé-Boyo IDPs. SENATOR HONORE AND IDPs Some 30 families who have fled the war in Boyo division and are taking refuge in Bamenda have received assistance from Senator Honore Ngam. This was Thursday, may 16 .The IDPs received material assistance in the form of basic food stuffs like rice, groundnut oil, tablets of soap and others. Addressing  his mothers ,fathers ,sisters and brothers who have now become internally displaced in Bamenda, senator Honore reassured them that though the night may be long, the misery they now face shall one day come to passed ”no matter how difficult and long this will be, peace will soon return” he said. It was also an opportunity for some 4 selected beneficiaries who had expressed the need to have startup capital for a small business in Bamenda to receive envelopes with cash amounts ranging from FCFA 50.000-35.000. OMO TABLETS AWAITING TRANSFORMATION Dream Reformation Association Cameroon, a not for profit making organization in Bamenda has economically empowered some 150 women in the region with knowledge on Omo production, a liquid and solid detergent that plays an important role in home cleaning, in and out laundry of all categories. This follows a one month project that saw Dream reformation team and volunteers training women groups in Bamenda,Ndonga-Mantung and Boyo divisions last April. TEAM CAPTAINS PRESENTS TROPHY The grand finals in Njinikom, marking the close of the over two months of active sports amongst the youth of the area was emotalised in football in female and male categories.
